Magic, as we seem to understand it, is the ability to affect change in ways we didn't think possible. Once you understand the mechanism, by definition it is no longer magical.
In order to manifest impossible realities first we must be able to imagine them, hence belief is our primary tool. Those who search for these techniques are wixen. Our abilities tend to be localized and syncronicity the multiplier. Each may have their own rituals, but cooperation is our strength.
Enacting change is the purpose of all effort. Our tools must be as varied as the uses for energy, then. Change may be the only constant, but our mortality prohibits us from simply waiting for what we wish to happen.
