I thrash around a lot and don't tend to focus on one task at a time. This, I have known for a long time, and have tried to build systems to help me keep track of all the things I am doing so I can continue to operate in this way. But I think something needs to change.
I was thinking of setting a bi-weekly (once in 2 weeks) 'focus' and only doing tasks in that 'project'. This combined with a 1thingaday that I follow well, will hopefully help me achieve the things that I want to.
