I think you shouldn't do what's convenient. The things worth doing tend to be hard. They tend to be worth doing even if you do them poorly.
"Significance through Suffering" as my friend Jeremy Jervis likes to say.
Of course, this is a lot easier said than done. Most things are "optimized" to be convenient. But these are always consumer actions. We're not going to consume our way out of the Meta-Crisis]. So do the inconvenient but necessary thing. Do the annoying thing you know works. Make an adventure of things. Your life will be richer for it.
