"threads" are groups of related ideas, and can fork or subgroup. through the threads one ties "knots" - which are nodes containing some information.
when moving through threads, order through time jump to any knot or thread
threads can be "woven" into "patches", blocks of threads that make up a particular view of information. you must be able to "interweave" different threads as they grow or static knots to visualize some specfic information. im imagining something akin to a new page tab, which can either show updates or a static list of knots with some of their information to form a narrative
